The Parker County Cowboy Church hosts a dynamic program of arena events for all ages, genders, and skill levels. Arena events provide spirited fun, education, competition, and Christian fellowship.
We are blessed with a large (150×300 ft.) lighted arena complete with a great sound system. We also have covered bleachers for observers, so if you don’t ride but are interested in watching, you can come on out and join the fun. We use our arena for day and night events and change the time to fit the weather.
Every event we hold is open to the church family, friends, and the general public. These events are used as an outreach to the community and include a short seven-minute sermon conducted by a church member to lead the message.
Arena activity is planned and conducted by members of the Arena Team Ministry and volunteers. It takes a lot of people to keep this activity going and there is always room for another helper. Come out and give us a try. You might be surprised and really like it.
Here’s a guide to some of the events we host:
Specialty events are also held when interest warrants. Examples include steer saddling, mutton busting, kids’ stick horse rodeos, brandings, etc.
We work to keep hoof prints in the arena and provide a means of entertainment and Christian Fellowship.
