The message that Paul wrote to the Church in Philippi in chapter one verse three is the same message I want to send to all of you who have reached out to Penny and I as you have been by our side in the last days and months. Listen to Paul’s heart and to my heart.
Philippians 1:3 “I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you.”
I will always be thankful for the support you gave to us during Penny’s illness and then to me after she went to be with the Lord. Your kindness has meant so much.
Penny wrote in her Bible that grief is the consequence of love. Today I grieve, but not as one who has no hope. [1Thesalonians 4:13 ] We have a hope that can only come from the Lord who promised those of us who believe that even though we die, we will live forever. I know Penny lives and is in God’s presence and that gives me comfort and hope.
My hope for all who read this is that you have given your life to the Lord so that when your time comes to depart this earth, all who remain behind will have the sure hope that even though you have died physically, your spirit lives on eternally.
God bless you all and ” Keep Spurring ”
Louis
